BML Credits Terms

What BML Credits are

Every BookMyLesson plan includes a monthly allowance of texts and BML Support. BML Credits are a prepaid balance, in US dollars, that your studio can use for texts and BML Support answers past that month's included allowance.

Included allowances

• Texts: 500 included per calendar month on Premium (texting is a Premium feature).
• BML Support: $5.00 of included answers per calendar month on every plan.

Included allowances reset on the 1st of each month and do not carry over. Emails are never limited.

Rates

Past an allowance, usage is charged to your BML Credits at 3¢ per text and 15¢ per BML Support answer, only when "Use credits automatically" is on in Settings → Billing & Plan. With it off, texts and BML Support pause until the 1st. Rates may change with 30 days' notice by email.

Buying credits

Credits are bought in Settings → Billing & Plan in packs of $10, $25, $50 or $100, charged once by card through Stripe. With auto-refill on, BookMyLesson charges the card on your subscription for the refill amount you chose whenever your balance runs low, and tells you by email if a charge fails.

Carry-over, refunds and cancellation

• Purchased credits carry over month to month and do not expire.
• Credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to your subscription.
• If your subscription ends, your credits stay on your studio account and are there when you reactivate. If you delete your account, any remaining credits are deleted with it and are not refunded.
• Credits belong to the studio account, not to any individual, and cannot be transferred to another studio.

Your balance and history

Your current allowance use, credit balance and every credit purchase or spend are shown in Settings → Billing & Plan. BookMyLesson sends one email when your studio is close to a month's allowance, unless auto-refill is on.

Taxes, failed charges and changes

Credit purchases are charged in US dollars and may include applicable sales tax where required. If an auto-refill charge fails, BookMyLesson tells you by email and does not retry on its own; turn auto-refill back on or add credits once the card is updated. Allowances, packs and rates may change with at least 30 days’ notice by email; a change never reduces a balance you already bought.
